Memorial Butterflies in honor of Anne
These are the beautiful butterflies that were created by everyone who attended the celebration of the life of our dear friend Anne. I had the glass gem boarders in place... on mesh. Then as folks came to the celebration they were invited to choose several pieces of glass to glue on the butterflies. I then mounted them on the painted hardiboard, grouted and gave them to the family. Didn't they turn out beautifully!

Thank you, Amanda. It was a especially appropriate because Anne had helped me with another butterfly project several years before... had planned to participate in our Barberville project. She also had a beautiful butterfly garden. She was a very special friend and we think she would have liked this.
